January 30th marked King Abdullah II 49th birthday! Here at the school, we took some time on Thursday to celebrate. The kindergarten students decorated flags, which they waved proudly while dancing to a famous Jordanian song. Individuals from our 5th and 6th grade classes read poems and essays they had written about both King Abdullah II and remembering his late father, King Hussein. All the students enjoyed this reason to celebrate their beloved King. 

Today, January 15th, we took the time here at AES to celebrate tree day. In partnership with Jordan's Ministry of Agriculture, we decided to have the kids plant trees around our community.
